“LIGHT AND FUN” EVENT PACKAGE
Friday 4 March: World’s Longest Lunch
Don your favourite floral frock and pack your straw boater and parasol, as the Festival kicks off with a long, leisurely lunch in the leafy surrounds of the World Heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens. What could be more festive than joining nearly 1,000 revellers for a three-course lunch matched with luscious Victorian wines, while savouring the melodies of merry music-makers and good old-fashioned conviviality? Rally your friends for one of the hottest tickets on Melbourne’s event calendar.

Saturday 5 March: Cellar Door
Taste the breadth of Victoria’s wine country in a single day at Melbourne’s original riverside marketplace for boutique Victorian wineries. Bask in a divine afternoon of alfresco wine tasting as more than 60 of the best boutique wineries bring their cellar doors to you, in an exciting new location at the South Wharf Precinct. Test your palate on known and familiar varietals, uncover new favourites and stock your cellar to carry on the festivities back across the Tasman. Experience yet more of regional Victoria’s bounty with a tasting plate of artisan Victorian nibbles or cheese in a patch of March sunshine.

Monday 7 March: Crawl ‘n’ Bite
Small plates, fabulous flavours – we just can’t get enough! For some of the best small plates, at some of Melbourne’s hottest restaurants, join fellow foodies on one of the Festival’s guided crawls. Dance down laneways and navigate tucked-away basements and rooftops as you drop into three top dining spots to sample a signature small plate with a cleverly matched drink.

Tuesday 8 March: The Dumpling Crawl
Are you a dumpling diva or divo? While dumplings and their many variations may be found in all of the world’s great cuisines, it is to the Chinese we owe the most culinary gratitude. Join dumpling maestro Tony Tan as he wanders through the newly refurbished Chinatown precinct exploring new flavours and dishes at three of his favourite restaurants.

“EXCLUSIVE GASTRONOMY” EVENT PACKAGE
Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 March: Langham Melbourne MasterClass
