OUTLINE OF THE 2010 TOUR:

7 days / 6 nights Tour
Tue 20 Apr: Arrival – Istanbul - transfer from airport to hotel. Welcome cocktail and briefing.
Wed 21 Apr: Istanbul is a city of ancient wonders with an amazing historical culture and exotic sights. Full day tour including the St. Sophia and Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: dinner with belly dancing entertainment. (B)
Thu 22 Apr: Today, we will visit Topkapi Palace (excluding harem) before we head to Gallipoli. Visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine cemetery, Chunuk Bair and Gaba Tepe War Museum in the morning; whilst in the afternoon we cross the Dardanelles and continue to Canakkale for overnight. (B, D)
Fri 23 Apr: Cross the Dardanelles and drive to Chunuk Bair, visiting the trenches and the Nek before continuing to Hellespont where the largest memorial of the Peninsula is found. Overnight in Canakkale. (B, D)
Sat 24 Apr: This morning visit Troy with its famous wooden horse then proceed to Pergamon Acropolis. After dinner at your hotel we drive to Gallipoli for Anzac Day celebrations. Please note there is no overnight at the hotel as arrival to Anzac Cove is around 1:00 am for the dawn service. (B, D)
Sun 25 Apr: Anzac Day. Full day Anzac programme. In the afternoon we transfer to Istanbul, with dinner served on the way. (B, D)
Mon 26 Apr: Transfer to airport. (B) Please note that a later departure from 22 – 28 April is available, following a very similar itinerary.

Fri 23 Apr: Full day tour including Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Blue Mosque, St. Sophia Basilica, Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: dinner with belly dancing show. (B)
Sat 24 Apr: Visit Suleiman the Magnificent Mosque then continue to Gallipoli. Dinner in a local restaurant on the way to Eceabat, Gallipoli. Early evening departure to Gallipoli for the Anzac ceremony. As we will attend the dawn service there is no hotel accommodation (B, D)
Sun 25 Apr: Anzac Day. Full day Anzac programme. In the afternoon we continue to Canakkale where dinner will be served at your hotel. (B*, D)
Mon 26 Apr: Morning departure to Gallipoli where we visit Anzac Cove, the Lone Pine cemetery, Chunuk Bair, and Gaba Tepe War Museum then drive to Hellespont where the largest memorial of the peninsula is situated. Overnight in Canakkale. (B, D)
Tues 27 Apr: This morning we visit Troy then continue onto Pergamon Acropolis. Later we drive to Kusadasi, the picturesque port on the Aegean Sea. Overnight in Kusadasi. (B, D)
Wed 28 Apr: Tour the famous ruins of Ephesus and St. Mary’s cottage. Optional Excursion: Tour of Sirince. (B, D)
Thu 29 Apr: Today we drive through fertile valleys to the Aphrodisias city of Aphrodite, then continue to Pamukkale (white lime cascades) and visit Hierapolis. (B, D)
Fri 30 Apr: After breakfast depart for Marmaris. (B, D) Sat 1 May: After breakfast, you are transferred to the pier for your ferry to Rhodes or to the airport (at your own cost). (B)
